Everyday Raglan Knitting Pattern PDF File

Simple, understated, effortless. A raglan is all of these things and more! Best of all for beginners, a raglan is one of the easiest sweaters to knit. It might not look that way, but the raglan is the perfect first sweater project!

Knit from the top-down in one piece (which means no seaming), you’ll be able to try on the Everyday Raglan as it’s being knit up. How cool is that?

The Everyday Raglan is knit flat to shape the neckline and then joined in the round to create the shoulders. The sleeves are then separated from the body and held on scrap yarn.

The body of the sweater is worked in the round to the bottom hem. Then the sleeve stitches are picked up and knit. Finally, stitches are picked up from the neckline to knit the ribbing.

VIDEO TUTORIAL:  The Everyday Raglan pattern includes a three-page PDF pattern and access to a four-part video tutorial that walks you through the entire knitting process, from cast on to cast off.
